Portable demands N1bn to fight VeryDarkMan

Nigerian street-pop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has rejected a ₦100 million offer to physically confront social media critic, Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, insisting that he would only accept a N1 billion fee.

The feud between the singer and the online personality escalated after Portable openly criticised VDM for attacking the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

Since then, both parties have engaged in a heated exchange on social media, releasing diss tracks and trading verbal jabs as their clash gains momentum online.

In a viral video, Portable dismissed the N100 million offer as insufficient, claiming that he regularly receives such amounts from his fan base.

“That N100m, my fans give it to me. N100m is small for me to fight VDM. Let them give me one billion, I will fight him and beat him,” he said.

“If anybody can drop ₦1bn, I will fight him. Someone you can’t hold, you are now asking me to fight and beat him.

“You are scared of him, you can’t jail him,” Portable said.
