The Management of two real estate and investment firms, Houses for Africa and Jonah Capital, have raised the alarm over “fraudulent and unauthorized representation by two individuals.”In a statement, the firms named the individuals as Mr. Paul Odili and Mr. Adrian Ogunmuyiwa, accusing them of falsely parading themselves as members of the board and management.
According to the companies, checks with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) show that Mr. Kojo Ansah Mensah remains the Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director; Mr. Abu Arome serves as the Company Secretary; while Mr. Victor Quainoo is the Chief Operating Officer.
“The public is hereby informed that any claim by these individuals to hold any official position within Houses for Africa or Jonah Capital is false, amounts to forgery, and constitutes corporate identity theft,” the statement read.
The firms disclosed that the matter has been reported to the Nigeria Police Force (Special Fraud Unit) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
They also warned members of the public to exercise extreme caution and avoid entering into any agreements, transactions or partnerships with the said individuals.
“Any transactions, agreements or solicitations carried out by Mr. Paul Odili or Mr. Adrian Ogunmuyiwa in the name of Houses for Africa or Jonah Capital are null, void and fraudulent,” the statement added.
Affected parties who may have engaged in such dealings were advised to immediately stop further transactions, report to law enforcement agencies, and seek legal advice.
The firms reaffirmed that they have no association whatsoever with the activities of the two individuals and urged the public to verify any claim of affiliation through official CAC records before any transaction.
