Regina Daniels drops ‘Nwoko’ from her name on IG, deletes husband’s photos

Regina Daniels has made significant changes to her Instagram page — after reactivating it following a brief deactivation.

The updates come amid rumours of a marital crisis with her husband Ned Nwoko.

Rumours of a rift between Daniels and Ned began last week following claims that actress Chika Ike was set to marry Nwoko.

The speculations intensified after Ike announced her pregnancy without revealing the father’s identity.

However, both Nwoko and Ike denied the claims, with the actress stating that she would never be anyone’s seventh wife.

A recent check on Daniels’ Instagram page showed that she deleted almost all photos and videos featuring her husband.

However, she retained a few posts, including moments from their son’s birthday and a golf game. She also kept posts wishing her stepsons a happy birthday.

Daniels also dropped her husband’s surname from her bio, now identifying as ‘Regina Daniels Nneamaka Favour’.

The couple tied the knot in 2019. The union is blessed with two sons.

In October 2024, Daniels revealed family members were initially against her marriage to the politician.

She also said she had over 20 boyfriends before she met Nwoko.

Nwoko backed Daniels’s claim of having 20 suitors, stating that the suitors included influential men such as pastors, oil barons, and film producers.
