Sanwo-Olu, Abiodun hail VP Shettima on 58th birthday

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and his Ogun State counterpart have congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 58th birthday.

The described him as him as a reliable patriot, as well as a competent, loyal and trusted partner to President Bola Tinubu.

Sanwo-Olu, in his congratulatory message on Monday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, said “Vice President Shettima is a committed and selfless public servant whose vision aligns well with that of President Tinubu on how to take Nigeria out of the current state to a place of economic stability, social development and political stability.”

The Lagos State governor Shettima has, over the  years, displayed pragmatic leadership  in different areas at the state and national levels, in the private and public sectors.

He added, “On behalf of my family, the government, and the entire people of Lagos State, as well as leaders and members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, I congratulate Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 58th birthday.

“On this occasion of his 58th birthday, I wish Vice President Kashim Shettima good health and wisdom as he continues to render more service to our dear country, Nigeria.”

Abiodun of Ogun State in his own statement on Monday, signed by his media aide, Kayode Akinmade, lauded the former Governor of Borno State as an intellectual par excellence who has significantly applied his rich academic expertise to governance and civil administration.

The governor affirmed that Shettima’s track record of statesmanship and resourcefulness, coupled with his penchant for paradigm shifts through selfless leadership, led to his selection as Vice President by President Bola Tinubu.

“Abiodun prays that God grants the Vice President a more fulfilling life and sound health, enabling him to continue contributing his invaluable efforts to the development of Nigeria,” the statement added.
