Senate okays Tinubu’s request for 20 special advisers

The Senate has approved President Bola Tinubu’s request to appoint 20 special advisers.

The request was granted after the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, read the letter on the floor of the upper legislative chamber, on Tuesday.

The Senate Leader, Senator Ibrahim Gobir, had also moved the motion for the Senate to consider the request of the president and seconded by the Senate Minority Leader.

Tinubu, however, did not list the names of the 20 special advisers.
