Shareholders reelect Elumelu UBA chairman, approve dividend
Shareholders of the United Bank for Africa Plc have reelected Tony Elumelu as the Chairman of the Board and approved a final dividend of N3 per share for the 2024 financial year ended December 31.
The final dividend and N2 per share interim dividend paid in October 2024 brought the total dividend for the year to N5.
This amounts to a pay-out ratio of 26.6 percent.
The shareholder performed both functions at the 63rd Annual General Meeting of the bank in Abuja on Friday.
