Shiites protest US’ killing of Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei

Members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), also known as Shiites, have protested the killing of the Supreme leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The Sunday protest in Kano State came after the announcement that a joint attack by US and Israel on Iran on Saturday led to the death of Khamenei.
The demonstrators trooped out around 2.30pm, trekking from Fegge Central Mosque, which serves as the headquarters of the IMN in Kofar Waika, Kano, the Kano State capital.
Many leaders of the IMN addressed the protesters, condemning the joint attack on Iran and calling for the cessation of hostilities.
