Shokas, Ogun prominent businessman dies at 88 years
Ijebu businessman, industrialist and community leader, Chief Sakiru Olanrewaju Kassim, also known as Shoka, is dead.
The Bobagunwa of Ijebu land died at 88 years old.
Shokas dies around 3am on Friday.
He was expected to celebrate his birthday in June before death came calling.
The late philanthropist, who was the chairman and co-owner of Shokas Textiles Industries in Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State, was among leading socialites in the South-West in the 80 and 90’s.
Shoka was committed on Friday to mother earth in his Ijebu Igbo home according to islamic rites.
Burial ceremony is still ongoing as of press time.
