SON, CAC, other agencies under industry ministry get bosses
President Bola Tinubu has appointed new chief executive officers for several agencies and parastatals under the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment.
The agencies include the heads of Standards Organisation of Nigeria, Corporate Affairs Commission and National Automotive Design and Development Council.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement on Friday said the appointments were in line with the President’s “resolve to base Nigeria’s economic revival on the foundation of trade expansion through small, medium and large scale industry facilitation in the country”.
Hussani Magaji is the new Director-General/CEO of the Corporate Affairs Commission, while Ifeanyi Okeke is the new boss of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria. Oluwemimo Osanipin was named as NADDC DG.
The statement added, “…President Bola Tinubu expects all new appointees in this critical sector to optimally deliver in accordance with new key performance indicating benchmarks as established by the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment,”

Oil & Gas Free Zone Authority (OGFZA) — Bamanga Usman Jada
Small & Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) — Charles Odii
Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) — Ifeanyi Chukwunonso Okeke
