Suspended humanitarian affairs minister denied access to Tinubu
The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Betta Edu, was not allowed to see President Bola Tinubu on Monday at the Aso Villa.
Recall that the President had earlier in the day suspended Edu over an alleged N585m scandal within the ministry.
The suspended minister was seen in a video posted on TVC’s official X page leaving the Villa after she was unable to see President Tinubu hours after her suspension.
Edu’s scandal started when she signed a document requesting funds to be transferred to Oniyelu Bridget Mojisola’s personal account.
The document was sent to the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation.
