Music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has openly declared love for Natasha Osawaru, saying he wants to marry her.

This revelation comes shortly after his separation from his wife Annie Idibia, with 2Baba stating his intention to take things further with Osawaru.

A surprise appearance at the Edo State House of Assembly during plenary on Monday intensified speculation, especially after a video of them at a Lagos nightclub also surfaced.

The singer, in a video on his Instagram handle, clarified the love for Natasha has nothing to do with his divorce from Annie.

“She has nothing to do with what’s happening between me and Annie. But everybody trying to allegedly want to rope her into everything. Yes, I love her. I want to marry her,” he said.

Natasha Irobosa Osawaru, often called “Honourable Natasha,” is a politician and a member of the Edo State House of Assembly representing the Egor Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party.

She was born on November 14, 1993.

She is the daughter of Desmond Osawaru and Philomina Osawaru and the granddaughter of Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, a prominent businessman and philanthropist.

Natasha represents the Egor constituency in the Assembly.

Natasha Osawaru holds a law degree from Igbinedion University and a Master’s degree in Film Production from Full Sail University in Florida, USA.

Currently serving as the Deputy Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly, Natasha has been an advocate for youth and women’s development.

In 2024, Osawaru made headlines after being asked to leave the Assembly floor over improper dressing and wearing dark sunglasses, as reported by The Nigerian Lawyer.

While Annie Idibia has not publicly confirmed the separation, many social media users and celebrities have criticised 2Baba’s declaration of love for Osawaru.
