Tinubu back in Abuja after four-day AU summit

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after a four-day official trip to the capital of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa, where he participated in the 37th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union..

NAF 001 pulled up at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Int’l Airport around 4pm, concluding Tinumbu’s 15th foreign trip since assuming the Presidency nine months ago.

Tinubu was received by senior government officials, led by the Secretary to the Government of the Federal, Senator George Akume.

Others at the airport were the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu and the Minister of State for Defense, Bello Matawalle.

Also on the receiving line were the Imo Governor, Hope Uzodinma; the Director-General of the Department of State Service, Yusuf Bichi, among others.
