Two persons have been killed while three others were injured as gunmen attacked a Celestial Church in Felele, Lokoja, Kogi State.

The PUNCH reports that the incident happened late Sunday evening behind NNPC mega station in Lokoja, the state capital.

An eyewitness said the gunmen who were fully armed stormed the church and started shooting indiscriminately.

The injured victims were said to be receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Center, Lokoja.

The witness said,  “When  (gunmen) entered, they started shooting at everyone outside the church. I hid on a cassava farm. What I saw yesterday was like an action film in a movie. Kogi is no longer safe.”
