Truck suffers brake failure, rams into pedestrians, cars

Many persons are feared dead following a tragic road accident that occurred on Tuesday at the Oja’ba–Béèrè roundabout in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

Eyewitnesses said the accident involved a truck which suffered brake failure, causing it to ram into multiple public transport vehicles at the busy junction.

The impact of the crash triggered panic at the scene, with bystanders and sympathisers seen wailing and expressing shock over the incident.

A video circulating online showed distressed onlookers, while others gathered helplessly as the situation unfolded.
