Vice President Harris vows to stop Trump, Clinton rallies support

Following the decision of the US President, Joe Biden, to step down from the reelection campaign and endorse Vice President Kamala Harris as his replacement, the new woman in the news has put out her first reaction.

In a post on her X page at 9.31pm on July 21, 2024, the Vice President expressed her gratitude and thanked Biden for believing in her, while promising to live up to the expectations of Americans.

“On behalf of the American people, I thank Joe Biden for his extraordinary leadership as the president of the United States and for his decades of service to our country.

“I will do everything in my power to unite the Democratic Party and unite our nation to defeat Donald Trump and his extreme project 2025 agenda”.

Also, past president Bill Clinton stated in a post on his X page that it was important for Americans to stand by Vice President Kamala Harris and do all within their power to ensure her election.

The comment from the 42nd president Bill Clinton reads, “We are honored to join the President in endorsing Vice President Harris and will do whatever we can to support her. We’ve lived through many ups and downs, but nothing has made us more worried for our country than the threat posed by a second Trump term.

“He has promised to be a dictator on day one, and the recent ruling by his servile Supreme Court will only embolden him to further shred the Constitution. Now is the time to support Kamala Harris and fight with everything we’ve got to elect her. America’s future depends on it”.
