We’re not aware of Aso Rock elements working against Tinubu

The Minister for Information, Lai.Muhammed Federal on Wednesday said the Federal Government was not “officially aware” of any entity in the Presidential Villa working against the victory of the All Progressives Congress’ flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Lai Muhammed was reacting to the allegation by the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai that there were entities hiding Buhari who are working to ensure that the All Progressives Congress lose the Presidential election on February 25.
“If there’s anybody who is working against any candidate, we don’t know officially,” the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, told State House Correspondents after this week’s Federal Executive Council meeting chaired by the President at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
In the interview granted by El-Rufai on Channels TV’s Sunrise Daily, the governor has alleged that some “elements” in Aso Rock are working against Tinubu’s emergence as President.
El-Rufai explained that the persons in question were aggrieved that Tinubu defeated their candidate in the June 2022 APC presidential primary.
