The youth in Lagos on Monday embarked on awareness walk aimed at sensitising the citizens on the week-long activities for Y2024 International Youth Day.
Led by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Toyin Oke-Osanyintolu, and Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria (Lagos State chapter), Ibrahim Adigun, the walk, which took place today started from Ikeja and ended at Alausa Secretariat.

Adigun implored the youths to take full advantage of the opportunities being made available for them through the youth oriented policies and programmes of the state government through the Ministry of Youth and Social Development.
He said, “We the youths in Lagos State are solidly behind the administration of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and will do everything in our power to complement his efforts. His success is our success and we will not let him down. That is why we embarked on a peaceful walk in solidarity with him few days ago.”
Staff of the Ministry and youths from both the informal and formal sectors, including those from the Ibile Youth Academy, Lagos Youth Parliament, National Youth Council Of Nigeria, Faith Based Organisations, National Youth Service Corps, Community Biased Organisations, among others, participated in the walk
