Ladoja bows, to receive beaded crown from Olubadan Monday

All is set for the coronation of the High Chief Rashidi Ladoja as a beaded king by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin.

The Olubadan will coronate Ladoja on Monday at the Olubadan Palace, Oke Aremo, Ibadan, Oyo State.

The prestigious ceremony marks a significant shift Ladoj’s stamce on the issue as he had formerly kicked against being crowned a lower king.

What caused the change in the stance of former Oyo State governor, is yet unknown.

The event is expected to draw dignitaries, traditional rulers, and well-wishers from across the country.
