DSS operatives lay siege to SERAP Abuja office, demand to see director

Operatives of the Department of State Services have invaded the Abuja office of the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP).

News360 reports that the officers demanded to see to see the rights group’s directors.

SERAP’s X (Twitter) account posted a statement on Monday alleging that the DSS officers are unlawfully occupying their office and calling on President Tinubu to intervene.

The statement reads, “Officers from Nigeria’s State Security Service (SSS) are presently unlawfully occupying SERAP’s office in Abuja, asking to see our directors.

President Tinubu must immediately direct the SSS to end the harassment, intimidation, and attack on the rights of Nigerians.”
