Aisha Buhari seeks support for female aspirants

Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, on Monday, visited the national secretariat of the All Progressives Congress in Abuja.

The wife of Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, was also in attendance.

The first lady held a meeting with APC national chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, behind closed doors.

Aisha said she was at the secretariat to congratulate the new national working committee of the party, and to also seek the party’s support for women in the forthcoming general election.

She said, “We are also here to seek support for women. They should not be forgotten by the party.

“We congratulate the party chairman and thank the party’s stewards for the work they are doing.”
