Amid rising insecurity, Buhari meets service chiefs [PHOTOS]

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday, met with the service chiefs and heads of security agencies over the security challenges facing the country.

The meeting comes a day after the killing of a Catholic priest in Kaduna state.

The priest of the Kafanchan Catholic Diocese, John Cheitnum, was found dead after he was abducted by gunmen on July 15 in Kaduna.

The president had condemned the killing, saying his administration remains committed to ensuring improved security.

The service chiefs present at the meeting were chief of defence staff, Lucky Irabor; chief of army staff Faruk Yahaya; chief of air staff, Awwal Gambo, and chief of naval staff, Isiaka Amao.
