Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has unveiled a 24-man squad for Nigeria’s high-profile international friendlies against Poland and Portugal in June.

He recalled key stars Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman and Maduka Okoye.

The squad marks a return of some of Nigeria’s biggest names after Chelle earlier experimented with a different group of players in previous fixtures.

Nigeria will take on Poland at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw on June 3 before facing Portugal at the Estadio Dr. Magalhaes Pessoa in Leiria on June 10.

The matches are expected to serve as important preparations for the Super Eagles ahead of upcoming competitive fixtures, including the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Goalkeepers named in the squad are Maduka Okoye, Arthur Okonkwo and Francis Uzoho.

The defensive unit includes Semi Ajayi, Calvin Bassey, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Bruno Onyemaechi, Zaidu Sanusi, Igoh Ogbu and Emmanuel Fernandez.

In midfield, Chelle selected Alex Iwobi, Frank Onyeka, Wilfred Ndidi, Raphael Onyedika, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Tochukwu Nnadi and Alhassan Yusuf.

The attack will be led by Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman, alongside Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon, Paul Onuachu, Akor Adams and Terem Moffi.

The return of Osimhen and Lookman is expected to boost Nigeria’s attacking strength as Chelle continues shaping his squad for future competitions.
