Explosion at Kogi bar kills three

An explosion on Wednesday night in Kabba, Kogi State, killed no fewer than three persons.

Reports stated that many others were injured in the incident that happened at a beer joint around Lewu Junction, Kabba.

Sources said the incident occurred at about 9.45pm when the activities at the joint were at their peak.

One of them said, “I heard a loud sound not far from where I was and as I went there, I saw three bodies lying lifeless, while some others were injured.

“The injured were taken to St. John’s General Hospital in Kabba.”
