FLASH: Sanwo-Olu arrives at Ambode’s 60th birthday celebration [VIDEO]

A video of the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, arriving at the 60th birthday celebration of his predecessor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, in Ikoyi on Wednesday has surfaced on the social media.

Ambode was governor of Lagos from 2015 to 2019.

Since the return of democracy in 1999, Ambode is the first governor of Lagos to serve just one term.

In 2018, Ambode spoke against the governorship ambition of Sanwo-Olu ahead of the primary election of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos.

Ambode lost the primary election after reportedly falling out with godfather of Lagos politics and current Nigeria President Bola Tinubu.
