Garo sworn in as Kano State Deputy Governor

The Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has sworn in Murtala Garo as the new Deputy Governor of the state.

The swearing-in ceremony took place on Tuesday at the Government House in Kano.

The oath of office was administered by the Chief Judge of Kano State, Dije Abdu Aboki, in the presence of senior government officials, lawmakers, traditional rulers, and party stakeholders.

Several prominent figures attended the event, including former Kano State governors Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and Ibrahim Shekarau, as well as Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin.

Also present was the 16th Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, alongside other dignitaries.
