IGP presents manual on how police will handle situations involving children (PHOTOS)
The Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba, has present the Nigeria Police Force Standard Operating Procedures.
The SOPs is meant for handling cases involving children in conflict with the law.
Baba unveiled the manual on Wednesday at the IGP’s Conference Hall, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
A statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, said, “The SOP developed with support from UNICEF and the European Union aims to standardise the response of the Nigeria Police Force to cases involving children who come in contact with the law.”
