Fans of fuji music were excited during the week when pictures and videos of veteran fuji musicians— Wasiu Ayinde, aka K1 de Ultimate; Saheed Okunola aka Saheed Osupa; and Wasiu Alabi, aka Pasuma, together surfaced on the Internet.

It is public knowledge that the three music heavyweights had not been on good terms for some time, so many could not believe their eyes when the trio were spotted on stage during the 50th birthday party of an Islamic singer, Ahmad Alawiye’s 50th birthday.

At the party, top fuji artistes took turns to entertain guests at the shindig. When K1 de Ultimate, who is also the Mayegun of Yorubaland, took to the stage, he was joined by Pasuma and Saheed Osupa.

As K1 performed to the delight of guests, Osupa went round greeting people and spraying naira notes on some of his friends at the party. Shortly after, he handed K1 bundles of cash, which K1 appreciated by singing his praise.

As he serenaded Osupa, K1 then drew Pasuma closer, and put his hands around both singers as they all danced together. Osupa later took over the stage from K1 and continued to thrill the guests, while Pasuma continued dancing as he sang.

Many of the party guests could be seen marvelling at the reunion, with some urging them to release new songs and albums together to further prove that the widely-publicised rift in the fuji music industry had become a thing of the past.

Recall that some years ago, Pasuma and Osupa had fallen out, and went on to release songs and even albums attacking each other. Their rift also spilled to K1, particularly because of his closeness to Pasuma.

Some of the guests at the event were the Chairman of the Lagos State Parks and Garages, Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo; actress, Fathia Balogun; and another fuji singer, Sulaimon Adekunle, aka KS1 Malaika.
