No UTME for colleges of education candidates – FG

The Federal Government has said candidates seeking admission into colleges of education will no longer be required to take the UTME.

However, the candidates must still have a minimum of 4 credits and register with JAMB.

The FG added that candidates seeking admission into agriculture and technology programmes are exempted from the requirement.

The Minister of Education explained that the decision will alleviate the pressure on JAMB, and out-of-school adolescents.
