Unlucky Chelsea lose to Manchester United at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea were defeated 1-0 by Manchester United at Stamford Bridge in their EPL match on Saturday night.
The Blues were left feeling blue from hitting the post twice in the second half of the painful loss in front of their fans that sealed a fourth consecutive defeat, and have won just once in eight league games.
Liam Rosenior handed Liam Delap and Estevao rare starts while Enzo Fernandez slotted back into midfield.
Matheus Cunha netted the only goal of the game on 43 minutes with a first time volley beyond the dive of Robert Sanchez into the net to hand the Red Devils the lead at halftime.
The hosts would however dominate the second half but could not breach a makeshift Man United central defence of youngster Ayden Heaven and fullback Noussair Mazraoui. They did go close twice with headers from Wesley Fofana and Liam Delap, but the visitors were saved by the woodwork, and a late penalty call was waved off, and Man United held on to claim a crucial three points.
Michael Carrick’s first win in three matches improved Man United’s points tally to 58 points from 33 matches, 10 points more than six-placed Chelsea who are level on points with Brentford and Bournemouth.
