Which certificate do we rely on, asks S’Court on Tinubu’s qualification

The Supreme Court on Monday lamented that there are conflicts in the letters from the Chicago State University on the certificate of President Bola Tinubu.

A seven-member panel of the Supreme Court, led by Justice John Okoro, said while one letter authenticated the certificate, the second letter discredited it.

He spoke during the hearing of the appeal of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar challenging the qualification of Tinubu.

He asked, “Which do we now rely on.”

The panel subsequently reserved judgement after taking the arguments of lawyers to parties in the suit.
