Lagos seizes fresh 106 motorcycles

The Lagos State Task Force have seized 106 motorcycles during its enforcement operations at the Iyana-School bus stop, first gate bus stop by Igbo-Elerin, Iyana Iba-LASU expressway, Megida bus stop and Ayobo roundabout areas of the state.

The Senior Special Assistant to the state governor on New Media, Jubril Gawat, disclosed this on X.

He posted, “The Lagos State Task Force #Taskforce112 carried out enforcement at Iyana-School bus stop, first gate bus stop by Igbo-Elerin, along Iyana Iba-LASU express way and Megida bus stop and Ayobo round about. 106 motorcycles were impounded during the enforcement operation.”

Recall that the state government banned the use of motorcycles in some parts of the state in 2022 and has since seized several motorcycles whose riders faulted the ban.
