Information going round has said a former Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano is dead.
Obiano reportedly died in London, but his death has yet to be confirmed by the Anambra Government.
However, Sahara Reporters, an online news platform, claimed Obiano died in a London hospital.
Obiano served as governor of Anambra State from 2014 to 2022, succeeding Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
Other reports claimed that the former govern died in London after complications from heart failure and urinary cancer
These reports remain unverified; no official statement from his family or Anambra State Government.
