Awolowo grandson Segun reported dead
Mr. Segun Awolowo, the only son of Abah Folawiyo and grandson of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo has been reported dead.
Born on 27 September 1963, 62-year-old Awolowo was a lawyer and a former Executive Director of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council.
Although details of his passing are still sketchy, the development is reported to have created a stir within the Awolowo family and among his associates.
Segun was said to have dealt with an ailment for some time.
