Azeez Fashola, the Nigerian singer widely known as Naira Marley, has released a fresh track titled ‘Moti High’.

The song landed on all streaming platforms on Friday, marking the artist’s first release in a long while.

In ‘Moti High,’ Naira Marley explores the feeling of being deeply drawn to a girl while embracing a carefree nightlife vibe. He seamlessly blends street slang, romance, and dancefloor energy.

He sings about being “high,” not just on substances, but on the thrill of impressing women with money and luxury. The track adds a lively new dimension to his signature street-pop sound.

“Woju mi mo ti high/ Pe mo like e o’wani so walahi/ Kosi Igbo ni be mo ba gbe e lor Dubai/ Jump in the car/ Oya let’s take a ride/ Baby girl mo ti high/ Don’t take it off shift your pant to the side/ Anything you like o girl I go buy/ Girl take your time slow wine and rewind/ Get up and dance/ Get up and move/Shake that thing your mama gave you/ Shake that thing I’m right behind you/ Would you dance to the right?” he sings.

Naira Marley began his music career in 2014 after discovering his passion and was encouraged by close-knit friends to become a singer.

His hit track ‘Issa Goal’ brought him to the limelight in 2017. ‘Issa Goal’ became the theme song for the Super Eagles at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

He is the founder and CEO of Marlian Records.
