Oladapo Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj has spoken in public for the first time since he was released from the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission.

Recall that on Tuesday, the singer was detained by the ICPC, a few weeks after he was summoned by the commission.

The ICPC said the singer was under investigation for diverting funds meant for the government’s N-Power project.

But on Friday, the ‘Fall in Love’ crooner was released after three days in detention.

Shortly after his release, the musician took to his social media handle to speak on his ordeal.

In the post, the musician said he has assisted the ICPC with what he knows on the matter, adding that “I have no business with fraud.”

The singer also challenged the commission to unravel the truth in the matter.

“Global thank you to the world. I was invited on an ongoing investigation in ICPC. I have assisted the commission with all I know and I am confident in their capacity to unravel the truth in the matter. I have no business with fraud, all I do is #choplife,” he wrote.
