Ekweremadu, wife, arrested in UK ‘for attempting to harvest child’s organs’

Former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, and his wife, Nwanneka have been arrested in the United Kingdom for attempting to traffic a child for organ harvesting.

As reported by Daily Mail, they were arrested by the metropolitan police on Thursday and will be arraigned later today at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court.

Both are charged with conspiracy to arrange or facilitate travel of another person with a view to exploit.

The minor has been taken into police custody for safeguarding.

Their age, name and gender are kept away from the press.
