Organised labour said on Tuesday that it had not reconsider its decision on Wednesday’s protest and subsequent strike.

In a statement by the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Joe Ajaero, the union said the government was not set to provide relief for the masses over the current hardship in the country.

The labour leader said the information going round that the labour would change its position about embarking on strike was the work of fifth columnist.

“Once again, our nationwide protest will start tomorrow (Wednesday),” Ajaero added.
