Sisi Quadri died after securing US visa, says show promoter

The Chief Executive Officer of Fathia Entertainment, Olawale B, has revealed that Sisi Quadri, the Yoruba actor, died shortly after his American visa had been approved.

Quadri’s demise was confirmed by Bolaji Amusan, the president of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), on Friday.

The cause of death, however, remained unknown.

In a post via his Instagram page on Friday, Olawale said he was saddened “to hear” about the death of the actor.

The show promoter also disclosed that Quadri’s US visa had already been approved and his travel date had also been fixed.

“So sad to hear about the death of Nollywood actor @iamsisiquadir. US visa was already approved, date fixed already. Who are we to question God?” he wrote.

The 44-year-old actor rose to fame for his role in the movie ‘Seranko Seniyan,’ which was released on December 4, 2004.

He also featured in a plethora of movies and earned several awards for his craft.

He starred in ‘Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre’, a Netflix project which premiered on Friday, March 1.

Quadri was well known for renowned for his comedic ability to deliver his insults in movie scenes with finesse.
