Outgoing Speaker, Gbajabiamila, is Tinubu’s Chief of Staff

President Bola Tinubu has appointed the outgoing Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, as his Chief of Staff.

Leadership reports that he was introduced as the brand new chief of staff during the meeting between the President and the nation’s security chiefs at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Thursday.

Also, a report by PM News said Olanrenwaju Smart Wasiu, chief of staff to Gbajabiamila, confirmed the development.

Wasiu said the Tinubu appointed Gbajabiamila on Thursday after several hours of meetings and consultations.

Gbajabiamila was re-elected to represent Surulere 1 Lagos constituency in the House of Representatives.

But he has yet to receive his certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission.
