Tinubu returns from foreign trips, Shettima travels to Borno for sallah

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after trips to Paris where he attended the Financial Pact Summit and London.

He arrived at the presidential wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos around 5:05 pm.

He was welcomed by dancing supporters who have been waiting for his return.

Tinubu is in Lagos for the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, his first since he was inaugurated as President.

His arrival concludes his one-week trip to Paris—where he attended a summit for A New Global Financing Pact—and London, for a private visit.

Meanwhile, Vice President Kashim Shettima, on Tuesday, departed Abuja for Maiduguri, Borno State, where he will be observing this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.

Our correspondent learned that will return to Abuja by weekend.
