Lagos Agric Commissioner is photojournalists’ Agriprenuer person of the year
The Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture, Abisola Olusanya, has been named as the most outstanding Agriprenuer of the year in public sector by the Guild of Photojournalists Nigeria.
A statement from the guild said the award category, which cut across all aspects of the public sector, was given to Olusanya for her outstanding achievements in office as the Commissioner for Agriculture.
The statement from the guild reads partly, “We have note with deep admiration and commendation the remarkable initiatives so far executed in office by Ms Abisola Olusanya, especially in the area of Lagos Agricultural Value Chains Enterprise Activation Programme, Lagos State Agricultural Scholars’ Programme, Agro-Productivity Enhancement and Livelihood Improvement Support, Lagos CARES, Butcher’s Academy, among others.
“As it stands, Ms Abisola Olusanya remains one of the outstanding female commissioners in Lagos State and Nigeria.”
